# VOIDX Vaults

> Curated one-click strategy vaults — pick a card, deploy on your own exchange API keys

# VOIDX Vaults

Vaults are the fastest way to start a bot on VOIDX. Each vault card is a curated, pre-configured strategy: pick the card that matches your exchange and risk appetite, optionally tweak the symbol, and click **Deploy Vault**. The strategy launches through the standard deploy wizard, prefilled with the vault's settings, running on your own exchange API keys.

Your funds never leave your exchange account. Vaults are **non-custodial** — the platform only places and manages orders on your behalf through read/trade-only API keys. You retain custody of funds at all times.

## What You See

The Vaults tab header shows two counters: **Available** (the number of vaults in the catalog — currently 14) and **Your Live** (how many of them you have running right now).

Each vault card carries:

* **Name** and a one-paragraph description of the strategy
* **Exchange badge** with a colored dot (BloFin blue, Bybit gold)
* **Strategy badge** — Professional MM, GLFT Optimal, or Vortex DCA Waves
* **Risk tier badge** — Conservative (green) or Moderate (amber)
* **Min balance** — anchored top-right; the suggested minimum futures-wallet balance
* **Symbol picker** — single-symbol vaults let you pick from popular symbols (BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, ASTER, SUI, DOGE, LINK, AVAX) or type a custom one before deploying; multi-symbol vaults list their pairs (editable in the deploy modal)
* **Stats row** — Equity (per-trade or wallet exposure), Levels, Risk
* **Features line** — the strategy features bundled into the preset
* **Deploy Vault** button — or **Connect wallet to deploy** for guests

Vortex vaults add two extra controls directly on the card:

* **Wallet Exposure slider** — override the preset's default exposure (70% single-symbol, 60% anchored, 30% per symbol on multi)
* **Leverage slider** — only applied if you actually move it; left untouched, the bot keeps your exchange's current leverage setting

If a vault already has a running bot, the card shows a green **Live** badge and the button becomes **Active — Deploy Another**.

## Getting Started

    Open the **Vaults** tab and connect a wallet — this is your identity on the platform. Signing the authentication message moves no funds.

    If you haven't already, save your exchange API keys via the Add Exchange flow. Keys are stored encrypted.

    <Warning>Only enable **Read** and **Trade** permissions on your API key. Never enable **Withdraw**.</Warning>

    Choose a card matching your exchange and risk appetite. Adjust the symbol (and, for Vortex vaults, exposure/leverage) if you want.

    Click **Deploy Vault**. The deploy wizard opens prefilled with the vault's configuration — confirm and the bot starts trading.

Academic quoting based on the Gueant–Lehalle–Fernandez–Tapia equations — inventory-penalized spreads with regime detection. All four are **Conservative** tier with 2.0% equity per trade.

Wave-queue DCA rescue ladders — small early waves cycle fast on chop, larger late waves catch deep moves. All are **Moderate** tier with low minimums, designed so the grid budget is resolved automatically from your live wallet balance and exposure setting.

## Vault Features Explained

**Drawdown spacing** — when a position is underwater, grid spacing widens automatically so the bot doesn't pile into a losing position too aggressively.

**Inventory balancing** — quotes skew toward reducing inventory when the position grows too one-sided, keeping the book balanced over time.

**Geometric levels** — grid levels are spaced exponentially rather than evenly, committing less capital far from price.

**Reactive quoting** — spread width adapts to live volatility and order flow: tighter in calm markets, wider in fast ones.

**Profit chase (2bp)** — instead of closing exactly at the take-profit target, the bot trails price by 2 basis points to capture extra upside.

**Profit floor** — once a position reaches a minimum profit, the bot will not let it fall back below that level.

**GLFT optimal quoting** — bid/ask offsets computed from the GLFT closed-form solution using volatility, order arrival rate, and risk aversion — no heuristic tuning.

**Inventory penalty** — a gamma-based penalty that skews GLFT quotes to shed position risk as inventory grows.

**Regime detection** — classifies the market as ranging, trending, or volatile (via ADX) and adjusts spreads accordingly.

**Recovery grid** — orderbook-aware DCA that places recovery orders at support/resistance walls with escalating size.

**Auto fee detection** — Bybit vaults read your actual fee tier instead of assuming hardcoded rates.

**Auto max waves / wave queue** — Vortex vaults resolve their wave count at startup from your live wallet balance × exposure, and extend the grid with rescue waves if price keeps falling.

**Anchor-stable prices** — anchored Vortex vaults pin wave prices to an activation anchor and tolerate small drift per order instead of constantly cancelling and replacing — far less order churn.

## Managing a Deployed Vault

A vault deployment is a standard VOIDX bot. After deploying:

* The vault card shows **Live**; the button becomes **Active — Deploy Another**
* The bot appears in the **[Bots](/features/bot-management)** tab with live status, PnL, uptime, and Start/Stop/Settings/Delete controls
* Its PnL is tracked in **[Portfolio](/features/portfolio)** alongside your other bots
* Click the bot's **Settings** gear to customize any parameter — at that point it is your configuration to manage

<Warning>Stopping a vault bot does not close its open positions. Close those from the Trade tab or your exchange if needed.</Warning>

## Frequently Asked Questions

<Accordion title="Are my funds safe?">
  Your funds never leave your exchange account. Vaults place and manage orders through read/trade-only API keys; the platform cannot withdraw. Your wallet connection is identity only — no tokens or funds pass through it.

  For maximum security: never enable withdrawal permissions, use IP whitelisting if your exchange offers it, and enable 2FA on your exchange account.

  Yes. The deployed bot is a standard VOIDX bot — open its Settings from the Bots tab and adjust anything. Once changed, the configuration is yours to manage.

<Accordion title="What do the wallet exposure and leverage sliders do?">
  They only appear on Vortex vaults. **Wallet exposure** sets what share of your balance the wave ladder may use. **Leverage** is applied only if you actually move the slider — left untouched, the bot keeps whatever leverage your exchange account already has, so existing settings are never silently overridden.

  Each card shows its own minimum, from **$50** (single-symbol Vortex vaults) up to **$2,000** (Bybit Multi-Symbol MM). These minimums ensure orders are large enough to execute; running with less may produce orders below exchange minimums.
